Thumbs up to the Fresno State football team for winning their season opener against Rutgers on Monday. As if having another reason to barbeque on Labor Day wasn’t enough, there’s more reason to celebrate — the win helped push the ’Dogs into 21st spot on the Associated Press college football poll. Here’s to hoping the rest of the season has the same outcome (though, we wouldn’t mind a more eventful first half).

Thumbs down to coming back after a three-day weekend only to be swamped with work when you return. We like the time off, but we wish we could ease back in to the swamp of work that is Wednesday.
