Collegian Idol: Vote for your favorite

During Vintage Days, The Collegian gave Fresno State students the chance to win a $250 gift card to the Kennel Bookstore. All they had to do was sing karaoke on videotape. Now, it’s up to Collegian readers to choose which one gets the $250.

The challenge was answered by 20 students. Below are the top singers as chosen by the editors of The Collegian. Use the links below to see all of them, and then return here to use the form at the bottom of the page to vote for your favorite. Check back on April 28 to see the winners!

Details: You must have a valid Fresno State email address in order to vote. You will receive a confirmation email after voting. If the confirmation email bounces or you supply an email address other than an official Fresno State one, your vote will be discarded.

First prize will receive a $250 gift card to the Kennel Bookstore. Second prize will receive a $100 gift card. Third prize will receive a Fresno State sweatshirt. Fourth prize will receive a Fresno State T-shirt.

Comments may be used in the print edition of the newspaper. Be sure to pick up next Friday’s issue of The Collegian for featured comments.

    just like to say the voting boxes aren’t working on collegian idol. they all just say “name.”

    everytime i enter my info and who i am voting for, it says that the page has not been found/it no longer exists??!???!?!?

    Take it easy, folks. A piece of code is out of whack. I’ve been in Sacramento all day and am working on it now. I’ll have it fixed shortly.

    Just a reminder, folks, you have to enter a valid Fresno State email in order to vote. Votes that come from other emails or invalid Fresno State email addresses will be discarded.

    Michelle, back in my day this song was hot stuff…I’m glad your keeping this song alive. Next time try “These Boots Are Made For Walking” I think you would do a great job with it!
