Interesting to hear Brandon in the news article say he was not impressed. Chingy came out as a favor to Dr. Bailey and ASI. Chingy was not supposed to perform and did so. THe entire slot a lot family was laid back and generous with their time so thank you Dr. BAiley, ASI, and Vintage Days.

It was a cool day Thursday. I knew I was going to see Chingy and the SLot a Lot crew do their thing so I got to the USU about 10am and me and my girl went bowling. All of a sudden, Here comes Chingy and the crew in the bowling alley and kicked it in there with us for like an hour or hour and a half. He took pics with students, signed autographs, he was really accessible. There are some people who thought him only did 1 song sucked but I found out he wasnt even paid for this visit and still kicked it on campus all day. Thats cool. I still wonder if Dr Bailey is in the family with Chingy (Howard Bailey) cause they were all hella cool with eachother. I then went to the Forum and it was more than 600 people it was like 7 or so. I was like DAAAMMMM, its thick in here. The party later that night was slammin too and CHingy performed again..IT was hott. SHouts out to Eddie Miller and the Basketball team guys who were chillen with me and my girls in VIP.

Its amazing how much people want something for nothing. This artist did something in 1 day that most of the activities on campus fail to do…namely diversify the entertainment and programming. Shouts out to Dr Bailey and the ASI VIntage Days people for doing this. Amazing how the student interviewed said he did “half a song”..this was never supposed to be a concert.
