<description>I had to respond with a two poem!

Before Thirty-three; My Revenge

..:namespace prefix = o ns = &quot;urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office&quot; /&gt;

I am embraced by the lover&#039;s do

Under the heavens of morn&#039; dew

The jealous husband has searched

Hearts, no guard for the harlot&#039;s stout

This sea is mighty beyond light

The norm of another steady bright

Dead I&#039;ve fallen to feet of meek

Sweet fornication to feel, I seek

Fornication came in a dead sea

No father cared re the wayside lee

So she took inside her might temple

Love? a grace from heaven&#039;s ample

I am man answering his charge

Like the model before me in large

Fornication come again, cover arm

Cleansed I am precious girl charmed

Now a father came to take my kidney

To laugh beyond the stone of many

Sweet fornication come for a while

Again and again in rapture, in style

Is there not life beyond those dead

Committed to the grave and a weary head

What came, but the judgement of mislead

My rapture, again and again must be fed

Smooth Jezebel
..:namespace prefix = o ns = &quot;urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office&quot; /&gt;

How hath it fallen upon thee

Your title of smooth Jezebel

From those throwing stones

From the hip of broken bells

The French kisser is to woo

Her scent is surely for inhale

What doest take to kindle a court

Truth is in the eye of your male

Where have you gone to hiding?

Behind the bonnet&#039;s rim of tidy

In skirts of silk and flower print

Purple gems and satin drapes

Will you come out for play?

Upon a stage for performers

Light the night with wizard&#039;s dust

As we frolic beneath the covers

<description>While I&#039;m no demographer, i think in the top story mentioning &quot;half of all marriages failing&quot; is misguided.

The way I understand it, the &quot;divorce rate&quot; amounts to half the number of people who got married in a year, but the number of divorces in a year is unrelated to that. Basically, what&#039;s going on is that half as many people get divorced every year as get married, but the number of people who COULD get divorced is a very big number and has nothing to do with those who get married.

And what is so bad about divorce anyway, besides making a bad choice in life partners? It wasn&#039;t that long ago when women weren&#039;t allowed to get a divorce unless they had a good reason (according to a judge). Of course, kids suffer from divorce, but being locked into a marriage for the sake of marriage is much worse than separating and getting half of your spouse&#039;s stuff!

However, I agree that attitudes have changed and we&#039;re much more liberalized in general when it comes to romantic relationships, which can lead to cynicism. I say good for us!
