Parking lot test drive

The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) CSU Fresno tested and tuned up a Formula 600 race car in Lot Q on Sunday. The car, driven by Mitch Thabit (above), was designed and built by SAE members for an intercollegiate SAE competition at the California Speedway on June 25-28. Entries will be judged in several events, including dynamic track events, design, cost and production.
