E-mail system outage
Over the past several hours, ITS has continued to work on the e-mail system outage and has made significant progress as of this morning.
At this point, the systems have been repaired and put back on-line and our initial checks indicate that full system functionality has been restored. Additionally, any e-mail that had been queued for delivery as a result of the outage has now been processed and sent.
While ITS is now considering this problem resolved we will be continuing to investigate the root cause of this outage and implementing steps to avoid any recurrences.
If however, you are still experiencing problems sending or receiving e-mail please do not hesitate to contact the Help Desk at 278-5000.
