Whether we like to accept it or not, world peace will never become reality. And to Mr. Waayers: Gandhi was admirable, but Jesus stood for much more than just world peace, did he not? This person is often ignored on college campus across the country. Just a few of his quotes provide a glimpse of what he stood for: “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you.” “If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.” And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.” His name of course was Jesus.
