uhhhhh, still----a MAC or C-USA team wouldn't have been a better second option after your afore mentioned teams. I did attend the game in the student section. The true was not the product or outcome on the field, but the slack-jawed and classless students who pass the gates drunk off their asses and show an utter lack of class even in victory (the fav quotes of the night----"hey ## you suck big d%^$s" in unison and chants of "F%$^ you f^%got" directed at security really make me wonder what type of quality education we are supposedly receiving at this university.

Hey Greyson, you knowledge (or lack thereof) is a debacle. The 'Dogs are playing at Texas A&M, at Oregon and Kansas State, and Cincinnati got scared and backed out of a game, and you're complaining that Sac State is on the schedule!?

I sure hope you're actually going to the game to support the team since you're so worried about who they play. And don't say you'd go if it were a better opponent, because Fresno State fans are supposed to go to see Fresno State. Period.

Sacramento State to open the season? Were Alcorn and Southwestern Missouri State already playing road games when the schedule was made? Seriously, that's a right there.

Nice, in-depth breakdown of the game James. But, I'm curious, why do you give the edge to Sac State and wide receiver and defensive back?

The Bulldogs are as deep at WR as they've been in a long, long time (although losing West does hurt because he was proven). Sac State only has one receiver who has done anything impressive.

And Webber and Shelton (Valley guys) are solid at safety, but better than the trio of Haynes, Harris and Bell? And Damon Jenkins and A.J. Jefferson are 10 times better than the starting corners on Sac State.
